We thought we'd be different in our set up and add some bright colour and a touch of modern contemporary furnishings to house our hippos.

Educating our audience was really important thus the write ups with simple information about care, food, bedding and how these lovely companion animals came about!

Our Hippos were a part of the Companion Animals Carnival Cum Rabbit Show that took place just last weekend at Serangoon North Community Club on 27th June 2010.

We think it was a huge success with our showcase of skinny piggies. We got lots of "oohs" and"aahs" and we like to think we've managed to educate some people about the lesser-known hippos of ours.
