We are a specialized caviary which aims to raise healthy skinny pigs that in appearance are as close as possible to miniature pygmy hippopotamuses!
Through careful selective breeding over the last 4 years, we have taken the breed to a new level - improved sturdiness, size, health and temperament. Kaleida's Happy Hippos are fiesty, outgoing and very loving. We have also bred for beautiful tricolours, dutch patterns, classy blacks, exotic dalmations and enigmatic roans. Of course, the self coloured and original red eye whites are still popular choices to date.
